Decided to have the newborn baby grow up a little in order to do a reference of him

This reference shows him as a toddler (roughly the age of Baby Mario) & then as a young kid (about 13 years old)


As a baby, Saiba can't take his finger out his mouth, often dipping it in things like peanut butter or honey so he could suck on it more; his stubborn attitude towards this most likely comes from his father, who he always follows around, often getting him into danger should Bowser decide to invade the Mushroom Kingdom again.

On his 11th Birthday, Saiba is given a wooden sword to train with & Blaid spends a lot of time ensuring his son is able to use it, but his mother encourages him not to always run headlong into fights & always make sure a problem can be solved without violence; Raiza was always the peacemaker of the two, but still encourages their son to learn the ways of the sword, often filling in as his teacher should Blaid have his hands full with villains.

After three years of hard training & making sure he's ready to explore his homeland, Saiba is sent out into the world & with sword in hand, he's determined to make his parents proud.


Yeah, like his parents' names are puns of Blade & Razor, his name's a pun on Sabre/Saber
Plus, the aqua stripe does go all the way over his head XD
